unimplemented features :-)

Thanks, Michael. This is the issue I tried to describe. I'm still happily running version 4.62 though, including Vincent's hard to close extension. Oh, and I know including screenshots is helpful in such cases, but also a bit of a hassle :-)

Cheers!

First of all, a big thank you to David and his team for the hard work they've put into version 4.62. On using it for a bit, however, I have a few, hopefully constructive, comments to make:

  1. I gathered from Vincent Fatica's post that his "hard to close" extension causes Pmail to crash. The hard to close part doesn't bother me that much but the "ensure foreground after tray double-click" feature of it does.
  2. I've found that when I do a reply to all, not all the addresses are immediately visible in the To: line of the compose window. Only the last email address or last couple of addresses and perhaps a bit of the preceding address are visible.

Once again, though, thank you, David!

Cheers!
Steffan

If an extension causes Pegasus Mail to crash it's the job of its developer to fix it (I know what I'm talking about since I'm one of these guys) ...

Are you talking about a scrolling issue, maybe ...? I don't really understand how "all addresses" could be visible if their length exceeds the edit control's width? Or would you simply prefer seeing the leftmost addresses rather than the rightmost ones (scrolling issue, see above)? Is it a new (i.e. v4.62) issue?

By definition? I'm not so sure about that, but never mind. I personally hope that at least some of the extension's functionality will be incorporated in the next version of Pmail. For now, this issue has prompted me (prematurely perhaps) to revert to 4.61.

Edit: Having reinstalled 4.62 and used it for a couple of minutes, I haven't yet experienced any (extension-related) crashes.

Yes, scrolling issue, sorry, I should've expressed myself more accurately. Yes, I would prefer seeing the leftmost addresses, which is the way it was in 4.61, but, also, the edit control's width is currently not used in its entirety, even when the addresses' length does not exceed its width. I just reinstalled 4.62 to reproduce this.

Cheers!

Steffan, I just enountered it myself with a slightly longer single reply address, see below:
