In Pegasus 4.62 when I double click or select and "open" a message in the new mail folder it does not open in the reader.  Nothing happens.  I can see the contents of the message when I forward or reply but not on a simple open.  The same thing happens in the other folders.  What am I doing wrong?

It is possible you are not doing anything wrong but is a new problem with your system. What system and version are you using? Is it possible your system was just updated and has installed IE9 for the first time?

Have you updated to and installed by running the exe installer of the latest IERenderer, now v4.6.0

Thanks for the reply.  I finally figured out that, in fact, the message was opening but I could not see the reader for some reason.  It was hidden somewhere off my screen.  When I "tiled" the windows I found it.  Thank again for your offer of help.

Glad you found your Reader window though I have no idea how it got moved originally. Are or were you using dual monitors at some point?

Do all other screen elements within WinPMail seem to be ok now? There is a seldom needed procedure to rename a file with winpm-32 closed and then on restart of winpm-32 all display elements will be shown at default value and then all must be resized and saved and may need to be used in the future if you have other things still not seen and shown in off screen positions. More later and only if necessary.

It sounds like your use of very basic MSWindows functions solved the problem with the reader window.
