Glad to hear.

I recently updated to pmail 4.62 and ever since I've updated, hyperlinks in HTML formated emails open a new Windows Explorer shell when clicked on instead of opening a new tab in Firefox, my default browser.  The only way I can access these hyperlinks is to copy the link location and paste it in my Firefox address bar. I've tried playing around with my PMail options with no success.

I'm running WinXP if it matters.

Run setpmdefault.exe again or open Tools, Options and in proper section run the Sytem mailer button again.

Can you check system and see if mailto  protocol is pointed correctly? Somehow it seems to get messed up by running of some installers of programs and needs to be reset then again. Also default mail application should be Pegasus Mail and pointed to wsento.exe

Are you using current 4.62 version?

What version of IE is installed on your system (no matter whether using it or not), could it still be IE 6 (IE 8 is the most recent one recommened for XP)? You might also open links via context menu's (right mouse button) Open link in browser which should make all installed browsers available. I'd also recommend updating to the latest IERenderer.

I'm running PMail 4.62, WinXP SP3 & IE8.  Firefox 7.0 is my default browser. When I open the context menu, I'm offered a list of browsers to choose from (I have many installed because I do web development). The context menu route does work, but is annoying as I'm used to just double clicking on links.

Updating IERender seems to have fixed the issue.
