AFAIK, you cannot rename the new mail folder (which isn't really a folder) or the deleted messages folder. But you definitely can rename the copies to self folder. If you do, make sure you tell Pegasus to store outgoing messages in that folder. Go to Tools, Options, Copies to self and select the folder of your choice. I don't know whether you're using Identities, but if you are, you need to do this for each individual Identity. Hope this helps.

Cheers!

Hi, I installed Pegasus Mail 4.62 for Vista 32 bit and it finished succesfully, however I cannot receive messages until now, tried several times and even reinstalled the whole program: same anomaly: send messages from another email program doesn't show up in New Mail folder, never. The sending is perfect: I do receive messages in the other email program, that's ok. Something wrong withe the receiving feature.

I tried to make a fresh installation from zero but even after full uninstall of Pegasus Mail and the additional progam Pegasus Mail HTML Renderer, they don't even ask any more for all the details of the internet connection like server names etc; so the uninstall of this program(s) is definitely not complete, there must be remaining files somewwhere, I don't know where. I would like to remove them all of course.

How to fix this little bug or installation corruption? For the rest the program looks fine and fast.

You can check your internet settings under Tools | Internet Options.

Look particularly at your Receiving(POP3)  settings.

Hi,

This is solved now.

There was a persistant error message in my basic Windows Mail account (Server-error 0x800ccc90, errornumber: 0x800ccc92) = error in users name and/or password and repetition of login tries. This was solved by making a unique password for the 4 options of the basic email account (account, internet, home page and emailadresses/mailboxes). I didn't know or forgot, an exception was possible and also installed previously namely the passwords for the email-account and for the email-program were different and also the users names were different, now this is all fixed by making a unique password for the 4 options. This worked finally and then and my Windows Mail worked again also and finally my Pmail worked also at the end! (At Setup I entered the original mailbox users name and the unique new made password). [:)]

I am using Pegasus Mail w32-462.exe (as 'Admin')

I still have a question with that 'New Mail' folder which I want to rename to 'Inbox' which doesn't work and the 'Copies to self' folder can be renames to 'Sent' or 'Outbox' but when renaming this folder, the original folder 'Copies to self' still exists and alo a new folder 'Sent' or 'Outbox'; that means 2 outboxes! Is simply and straight renaming of this basic folders not possible?
