After udate i have a IRenderer loading error
Tomorrow I will try with the ~a and let you know
If you ran the installer on the server I wonder why it wasn't there in the first place since Pegasus Mail starts the IERenderer installer which should do it for you. I'm almost sure it'll work this way.

I apologize. I post it in the worng forum. It is for Pegasus community. I will apreciate if the forum manager moves it to the correct one. I haven`t found the way to do it by myself. Thank you

Hi people who know more than me about Pegasus !

I had a intalation working with V4.5 with no problems. It is installed in a network and has a private disk mapping for the pegasus, disk "P". There are many users and you can log as any user name in any machine.

After the update I got a error message when I load the Pegasus "Error loading extension" "Pegasus Mail has encountered an operating system error while attempting to load the extension 'IERenderer'. The error code returned by Windows was: "No se puede encontrar el módulo especificado. (Trans: Module could not be find)".

I look into the forum and there is only one reference to this problem (http://community.pmail.com/forums/thread/27685.aspx). There is a sugestion there to delete the IERenderer.fff file. I did it, but with no result.

I recovered the file and checked the file. The path to the DLL there was wrong. It said "C:\...\pegasus\programs\ierenderer\ierenderer.dll". Because in our system it is installed in the disk "P" I corrrected it. No results again.

I disabled the IERenderer use in the configuration. No result again. I closed the progam and opened many times, all the times I checked if the use of the renderer is enables, and it is not, but all the times I received the same message when Pegasus starts.

It seems the program works well, but error window all the times is very anoing.

My dears gurus... Could someone gives me some ideas?

 I will apreciate any help

Best regards

Angel

You can try uninstalling IERenderer via Add/Remove Programs in Windows and/or reinstalling, after downloading from the downloads section of this site.

First of all the path should be "~a\IERenderer\IERenderer.dll" (Pegasus Mail should automatically replace "~a" with its own path). But if the error still occurs after removing IERenderer.fff there must be another such file somewhere: If Pegasus Mail doesn't find IERenderer.fff there should be no error at all and IERenderer should be disabled automatically and you wouldn't even see its toolbar button. Did you install Pegasus Mail using its installer?

Yes and no. I installed the Pegasus in the server using the installer, but the other computers take it and just run from there.

In fact we usually don´t run the Pegasus in the server, but I realized I don´t receive the error message in the server, meanwhile we still received it in the workstations

I have not unistalled the IErendeder inthe workstations because I don´t have it there. The DLL is in the server in the Pegasusus file structure. I´m trying to avoid the job of install it in all the PC. It´s a work I will try to avoid.

I checked the server and there is no other IErenderer.fff file

Tomorrow I will try with the ~a and let you know

 Thank you
