<p>I am not having any luck getting pegasus to send mail.  It receives ok. I set up smtp.att.yahoo.com on port 465. my syslog.pm is pretty sparce for information. Have a look at the previous thread re smtp problem, particularly the post by idw.

<p>syslog file does not contain information necessary to debug this problem. It is useful but not for this purpose.</p><p>Go to Tools, Internet options and check the block the create session log. The real story will be contained in tcp*.wpm files which detail every byte in and out or conversation with the server. Please read and use carefully and heed the warnings and also the warnings along with the -z -32 description of Help, Commandline options too. Be sure to not send any copy or whole file without user name and password deleted or obscured.</p><p>There are a number of complaints about failure to connect or setup problems with Yahoo servers for SMTP recently. I have no personal experience with connect to Yahoo.</p><p>When done creating log return to uncheck the block to not create further logs as they get very large very fast as well as being a security danger stored on drive if machine is not in secure environment. </p>

I not that in your sylog examle the address used is not  properly formatted. Check again and see if maybe it might work better with a dot before the top domain as in .com following alhatten. The From was ok but not the To entry.
