Missing text in Sent messages / Copy to self

I have exactly the same problem on a Windows7 64 bit machine (first line missing from copy to self). The mail doesn't actually have to be sent, just queued to be sent.

I don't have AVG, I use Microsoft Security Essentials. I disabled real-time protection and it didn't help. Any suggestions appreciated.

(Later) I just looked through my copy to self folder, and the problem began in September 2011, about the time Pegasus 4.62 came out . I'm on 4.63 now.

When outward messages are saved in "copy to self" they loose the first line of text. I have sent test messages to myself and while the while message gets through to the recipient the copy retained in sent / copy to self always misses the first line. However, the problem does not occur with forwarded messages.

The problem has been around for a while / previous versions. I have just upgraded to 4.6.3 and it has not changed in behavior. The Error in in the Raw View and other views.

System is Windows XP SP3

I would appreciate help in resolving this.

George

If this was true you wouldn't be the only one reporting this, and without anyone reporting it (until just now), how are we supposed to take care of it? Sounds like another AV scanner failure to me ...

Michael.

Thanks for your reply. I presume there is a bit of a translation error in your reply as the problem certainly was real, but I accept that it may not have been wide spread. I am using AVG Anti-virus and it is up to date

I have taken your comment on-board and disabled "outward mail certification" [inward certification was disabled a while ago after this form mentioned it was the cause of another problem (which I cannot recall :-)]

The test I ran without outwards certification did not produce the problem -

SOLVED

I didn't mean to deny that you had a problem, but if this would have been as serious and long-standing as you seemed to suggest it would certainly have been reported earlier and by others as well. Glad to hear that my assumption about the cause was correct .... [;)]
