Spell Check window comes up twice

Thanks for clarification. Now I get it.  Hopefully, in next release, this feature will be combined.

Best to you.

The next release is to be in new v5 series and that will use a different spelling checker and probably different controls too. I would not expect any further changes to existing spell checker or to the v4.63 in any way.  Work is already in progress toward v5x functions and interface. Note what author said in the v4.63 announcement.

Any ideas of why my Spell Check window comes up twice? I 'End Check' on window, and another one appears immediately.  It only happens with 2 windows.  Makes no difference if it is a new outgoing or reply.  I have turned off 'Automatically spell check', applied, restarted Pegasus, re-checked 'Automatically spell check', and problem persists.

I am running  PMail 4.63 on Windows 7.

Thanks in advance.

I have the same V4.63 on Windows7. It first checks the subject line, then after clicking "End Check" the next spell check window pops up to spell check the message body. I tried a V4.62 system also and it only checked the message body, not the subject. So it seems that spell checking of the subject line is a new feature of V4.63.

I had a user the other day who was rather confused by the spell checker coming up multiple time when trying to send a message. If you actually have a spelling error in the subject line, then it is obvious what is going on. But if not, then the first "no mistakes" spelling check is not self-explanatory to the user.
