My mother has her pegasus all messed up and not sure how to fix

All she has up is the my mailbox window and the folder list.  But when you click , let's say another folder like her deleted folder it doesn't switch to that folder.  It stays on the my mailbox window..  So all she sees on screen is folder list on left and my mailbox window.  Even when she pushed the inbox folder, the my mailbox folder stays in place and doesn't switch to that folder .

Also not sure how to turn on preview reading mode.  Read help..it says switch between classic view and preview mode, the buttons aren't there to do that.

Could someone PLEASE help me!!!!  My mom calls me to fix things and I don't know how to help her on this.

You can turn Preview Mode on or off by opening the "Folders" menu and clicking on "Preview mode"  Also, you can switch between a one-pane window and a three-pane window by clicking on the Preview/List button on the toolbar. While in three-pane view, you can view the folders list, message list (of the selected folder) and message body (of the selected message) on a single screen

Close all Subwindows on the Desktop of Pegasus. Click on the icon for folderlist (third from left). The folderlist should open. On top of the folderlist there should be a minimum of five icons. The fifth is for changing viewmode. If you don't see five, you have to resize the subwindow to the right until you see the fifth. If you hold cursor over this icon for a moment, what is he telling in contexthelp? Will switch to preview or to classic view? So you know in which mode you are.

  • if you are in preview, you will have to resize the subwindows more ... to right.
  • if you are in classic mode, you have to doubleclick to open folder and there doubleclick to open mails

There might very well be another window displacement issue involved: In this case Window => Cascade (or Tile) would be helpful.
