Ok i found my mistake...i needed to use SSL and not STARTTLS for MercuryC SMTP relay client.

<p>Hi,</p><p> i developing a website using joomla and in order to test on my local computer if everything works well with user registration i decided to isntall Mercury32.</p><p>i would like to use Mercury as relay to my gmail account to send email from mercury to user email account (used to register on joomla test website).</p><p>so something like Mercury (localhost / local computer) > smtp gmail > user's email account.</p><p> </p><p>I searched on internet something that could help me, however my ISP blocks port 25 and therefore i can use port 65 only for email.</p><p>anyway i modified a little bit my settings in this way....nevertheless, it still doesn't send mail from my localhost to my "user test email account".</p><p> </p><p>someone can help me please ?</p><p>thx.</p><p> </p><p>A. </p>
