You are absolutely right. I don't know how the message window got located off the visibile screen, but after tiling them now when I open a message it it visibile on the screen. Everything is back to normal. Thanks very much. I'm glad the solution was (in hindsight) so simple.

The middle of last week I upgraded Pegasus from 4.62 to 4.63. Starting late Friday afternoon I could not open e-mail messages. If I double-click a message, nothing happens other than a checkmark being added to show that the message has been read. The message does not open. Same thing if I select the message and click the "open" button. The button greys out (and the "read" checkmark is added) after clicking the button. If I forward with editing or reply to the message, I can see the content in the forwarded or reply message. I let the computer think about this over the weekend, but no change on Monday. This is very odd, and inconvenient. Except for not being able to open messages, things otherwise seem normal. I am running Windows 7.

The reader window is probably out of the visible screen (probably indicated by scroll bars), try (menu) Window => Tile or Cascade after opening a message.
