When sending to an e-mail site served by Secureserver.net  (that is godaddy) From Pegasus I get the following responce:  

 

"Delivery has failed on the enclosed message for the following

okmjnuhbgv cfrdeszwaq "->This is just a garbage string not an error.

I can send to these same sites from all other mail handlers I have access to, or my friends have access to, without any problems. But send to one of these sites with Pmail and bang there is the problem.

 

Any good ideas on how to fix this and specific help will be needed. I ain't no computer genius or nerd. Just a retired stiff trying to make life simpler for myself.

The above Errormessage comes from Yahoo server/postmaster/delivers system?

It seems you have a setup-problem with Pegasus. That's what I found on Yahoo:

  •  Incoming Server - imap.mail.yahoo.com
  • Outgoing Server - smtp.mail.yahoo.com
  • Incoming Port - 993 (requires SSL)
  • Outgoing Port - 465 (requires SSL/TLS)
  • Username: full email address (for example, bill@yahoo.com or bill@rocketmail.com)
  • Password: the password you login to Yahoo! with.

Which option do you use and what did you enter in Pegasus?

I am set up as POP not IMAP and have not been able to find where in Pegasus that I can change ports.But I also see that you are using the SMTP out address for yahoo. You are putting this into Pegasus while configuring?  Still confused because like I said I cannot seem to find places I can use this data.

I'm not using Yahoo - for shure. Had a look at there website but didn't find setting for POP3. But doesn't matter ... you have problems with SMTP.

IDW showed it in his screenshot. If you choosed secured SMTP-connection, first have a look at the tab "security", choose StartTLS (Pegasus may ask to change portsettings) there and choose apropriate option and enter username and password there.Go back to other tab and check if Pegasus has changed Port, otherwise change it manually.

Internet Options are also described in HELP.

Thanks Olaf and Michael for the help. Got the initial problems fixed but now my server is rejecting the data.

As you can see Authentication was good but the mail was rejected.

I have Godaddy working that problem as we write. Again Danka guys for the help.
