hyperlink button missing

Hi - I've always had the hyperlink button showing - I made a few changes to message formatting and the button is gone - I undid the changes, still no button. How do I get it back? I have v4.

In Tools, Options, Message formatting section read the Help entries which explain this. When you set to never send formatted or rich text that hyperlink button is not included in the smaller set of buttons shown.
