Since upgrading to PMAIL 4.63, several "peculiar" things have started happening. The most annoying is that when I click the icon to read new mail, the status bar at the bottom of the page shows this happening, but the MAIL folder window does not update. I have to close the MAIL folser window, and click on the Read New Mail drop down under File. The MAIL window then re-displays with any new mail included.
I am also having problems with using the POP3 selective download option. For me this is one of the real bonuses of PMAIL, but on this version, when I the various emails for "retrieve" or "delete" or retrieve and delete", and then click "Make it so", all hell is let loose! Sometimes PMAIL just hangs; sometimes after a while it comes back and nothing is changed; sometimes it just returns to PMAIL and nothing happens; sometimes it returns to PMAIL and any one individual email message will have been loaded into the MAIL folder window multiple times. Occasionally it works fine.
Sometimes, when I delete a message from the MAIL folder window, nothing happens. If I close the window and reopen it, the file is gone!
Please don't tell me that I need to re-initiate the hierarchy file, I use a VERY large folder structure to save all of email in, and it takes me days to rebuild it!
