Hello All,

I have realised that my Mercury/32 (4.72) server drop a lot of error 231 messages in the System messages windows, but I cannot find this error message description in the manual.

Any idea what does it mean and How can I solve it ?

Thank you for your kind suppor in advance,

Best regards,

Jhonny

There was a problem with creating unique file names for temporary work files in Mercury 4.72, and it's possible that the log messages are caused by that. Try updating to the current version.

Hi Rolf,

I have already downloaded the new version of Mecrury but did not find any information/documentation about the update process.

Is there any info about it ?

Or just have to make a simple copy (backup) about the working system and databeses and install the new one ?

Thank you for your kind support,

 Best regards,

Make a backup of your Mercury installation folder

Run the 4.74 installer and choose to Update Mercury.

I have upgraded through several versions over the last few years and this has always worked. No need for additional configuration etc.
