Thunderbird to Pegasus question
There are many free rename proggies around. Personally, I use Bulk Rename Utility.
Hi Steffan,

I think you may have misunderstood the issue.  Pmail only accepts .mbx files that have that ending, it then displays the ".mbx" suffix in the folder name.  Renaming my extensionless mbx files from TB allows them to be read by Pmail but I am looking for a way to automatically rename the folders within Pmail, not the .mbx file names.

Thanks again,

Boo

Hi,

I have  been using Thunderbird for over a decade now and have amassed a huge amount of email in a folder structure with literally thousands of folders. I want to move to Pegasus because TB is killing me but although I can import my TB .mbx files I find the corresponding folders in P to then have the suffix ".mbx" :-/   I have way too many to rename by hand so can anyone tell me a way to achieve what I want to do ?

If it is not possible to do this automatically then can anyone tell me if it would be possible to write an extension that could either import my TB mailboxes or else reanme the folders once imported ?

 Thanks in advance,

 Boo
