Pegasus Mail 4.63 system resources

Hi Jerry, I changed it to Always as you mentioned, and will see if any improvements. Thanks for the quick reply.

LE: I've done the changes you mentioned, and it looks that you were right, no more 50% CPU taken by Pegasus. Thanks a lot for the tip!

Hi, I've noticed that Pegasus Mail 4.63 for Windows takes a lot of resources, i.e. processor / CPU percentage of about 50%. If I close it down and restart Pegasus Mail, for a while it won't take that much (showing even 0% of CPU), but then it goes back to nearly 50% and stays there, no matter how long I am waiting for the background processes to finish, if any. Does anyone has experience this? And most important, is there a fix? Thanks.

The first thing to check is that you have Tools, Options, General, Advanced winsock loading set to Always. If set to On demand high loading symptom is a resulting symptom.
