Read and Edit Addressbook

OK I got it now. I had to go to the windows menu and choose cascade and once I did that the addresbook menu was visible. Then even when I went back to the tiled view the little tabs at the bottom worked as they were supposed to. And I now know how to do everything with the address book. Thank you so much to all who have helped.

Ok yall have helped me to the point I can send and receive and to where my main address book is loaded in and I did not need help with how to read store and delete messages. But I would like to know how to edit my address book to manually add someone or to delete an entry or make a correction. And feel free to add anything else that might be of use to me. I am using Pegasus for my personal email with friends and family.

Thank you but I have been there and also consulted help and I still can't figure out how to edit the address book. I can view it now.

With Address books open do you not see "Book" and "Entry" tabs?  These provide editing access.

Ok the only way I can see the address book is by opening an email then clicking the addressbook icon. A box opens up and I can in a two step process put any address into the relevant field of the email but I see no tabs and I see no other way to edit the address book. I must be missing something because the address book has to be easily editable or Pegasus would not have the following it has.

Oh wait from the inbox if I hit F3 I get the address book added to that list of things near the top. When I click that word addressbook I get a tab with several choices, some of which I used to get my contact list into Pegasus. But I don't see any tabs at all.

Four or five of the most simple functions with addresses don't require you to open any addressbook first: only to right mouse click on an address in headers or in body of a plain text message in order to add and address to a book or to add to a distribution list or to start a new  message to sender/address. Highlight and select and address and right click will offer options to also remove from addressbook or distribution list.

With "Address book" open you should see a choice of Address books or Distribution lists. If you open the Address book tab you should see under "description" a list of address books and then under "Name" a list of names in the highlighted address book.

Yes I do see the above things you mention but no sign of anything about how to edit it. I just figured out how to make something called the windowbar appear. It has two tabs but nothing happens when I left or right single or double click either. Is it possible I have a corrupt installation? What would happen if I downloaded the install file again and reinstall?

Well I did do the reinstall thing but no difference.

Is the problem that I'm on a 64 bit computer and OS?
