Details bar size in attachment view cannot be adjusted

Maximise Pegasus Mail. If the Reader is at its maximum size, not 'full-screen' but has been resized so that it fits the limits within the Pegasus Mail Window, if I then drag the reader window off to the left, I am unable to increase its size. When I place the mouse pointer over the right edge the window refuses to increase in width when I drag the mouse to the right.

Thanks a lot for the other info - I could have done that myself if I had thought about it [:$]

Cheers!

Hi, all

One of our members of staff has an issue.

When the attachment tab has focus the details bar that labels the file type, name etc columns is presently unmanageable. The portion of the bar that lists the attachment type occupies the entire width of the window and cannot be resized. The right edge is located beyond the window so they are unable to use the mouse to grab the right edge and drag it to the left to make it smaller so the remainder of the bar becomes visible.

Is there a way to resize this so that the filename, size, description is also visible, please?

Thanks!

Try moving the message window off to the left, bringing the right edge into view.  Then you can move that to the right to see the column divider, and then it should be possible to manually resize.

I think the dimensions are held in state.pmj, but try this before messing around in the file.

Thanks, Paul, but I'd already tried that. When you drag the window off to the left you are unable to drag the right hand edge of the window beyond the original size as used by the monitor's resolution. The machine is a Windows 7 client.

The state.pmj file has the following settings for the reader:

[READER]
Body=456,130,1450,815,"87 100 0"
Attmt=0,0,0,0,"269 0"
AtCols=0,0,0,0,"200 235 132"
Ann=0,0,0,0,"0"

Do you know what each of the values represents?

In that case I don't fully understand what you see.

Mine are:

[READER]
Body=132,182,622,592,"63 100 0"
Attmt=0,0,0,0,"363 2"
AtCols=0,0,0,0,"200 314 219"
Ann=0,0,0,0,"0"

My guess they represent the dimensions of the 3 message tabs: Message, Attachments, Annotations, together with the Attachment Columns.  Try replacing that section with those from a similar machine which is OK (after backing it up of course!).
