Weird code at the top of messages EG: p { margin: 0; }

Key in shift + F1 and look down at the Pegasus Mail status line. The Bearhtml version info will appear for 5 seconds. Key in Shift + F1 again to clear the Bearhtml helpfile display.

Just updated to V4.63 and now in the body of a message at the very top I keep seeing wierd code like: p { margin: 0; }

There's more in some message than others.

Another example:

#aweber_rem { text-align:center; font-size:10px; color:#333;

width:600px !important; margin:0px auto; font-family:Verdana,

Arial, Helvetica, san-serif; } #aweber_rem a {

text-decoration:none; } #aweber_rem a:hover {

text-decoration:underline; }

What is this code and is there a way to not have it display?

 Btw is this add on automatically installed with v4.63? (Asking as I don't remember installing it.)

In any case....

Thanks Martin I see that but it is already set as you suggest   wantcss=no

Could you please send me a copy of one of these messages to irelam@telus.net and I will check out the html code. the problem you describe is likely faulty CSS tags in the html as coding wantcss=no should remove CSS code from the stream.

Thanks

Try the opposite then, i.e. wantcss=yes.

I got the example message, but as you pointed out, there is no html content.  So we need to try a different method to get the message to me.

Please open the message again and click the Raw View tab, then in the displayed content, right click on the content and select the menu item "Select All"  and then right click again and select the "Copy" item.   Start up a Notepad.exe session and Paste in the message just put on the clipboard.  Finally save the file somewhere.  Now all you need to do is email me again and add the file just created as an attachment. Easy ?

Thanks

Thanks Martin. I almost did that when the code disappeared upon forwarding the message.

Ok I'll send a Raw View

Got the Raw View thanks.  Unable to duplicate the problem so far. Have tried with both WantCSS=No and WantCSS=Yes.  I wonder which version of Bearhtml.dll you are using?  It is in the Pegasus Mail executables directory (eg c:\pmail)   Use Windows Explorer to get version info from Bearhtml.dll.

Or key in Shift + F1 with an html message open, to get the version shown on the Pegasus Mail status line.

I also get the same thing.  CURE: As per previous suggestion, I added "Wantcss=yes" to the end of bearhtml.ini in the C:\PMAIL directory, and the problem went away.  BTW, my bearhtml.dl version is: 4.6.8.2 with a Date Modified of 12/19/2011.

I can't find what version it is using Shift + F1

I get all sort of bearhtml info but don't see a version.

The bearhtml.dll file in the directory says it's creation date is 12/19/2011

And there I see it's version 4.6.8.2
