1. Windows XP is fine. No limit for simultaneous connections applies to the ports used by a mail server.

2. I didn't try that but as long as Linux allows the VM access to all required ports it should be OK.

Hi all,

I'am thinking of trying mercury and have 2 questions in advance.

1) Do I need a server-win-system or is a XP-workstation sufficient system requirements ?

(system requirements,  the question of sumultanious connections)

2) has someone tried running Mercury in a virtual-machine hostet on Linux (KVM) ?
