system error MiniDump

I uninstalled v 4.63 because of problems with it and re-installed v4.61. Works fine except I get this message Pegasus Mail has encountered an operating system error while attempting to load the extension 'MiniDump'. The error code returned by Windows was: "The specified module could not be found.

Any ideas?

".

Its a Pmail add-on available from the Downloads section of this site.  You should find a Minidump folder within the Programs folder of you Pmail installation where you can install/uninstall it.

To get rid of the error delete the file MiniDump.fff from Pegasus Mail's program directory. If you installed Pegasus Mail into the same location as before you may as well run the MiniDump uninstaller via the respective Windows control panel page (otherwise you will get an orphaned uninstaller entry).

Didn't have a MiniDump folder or a MiniDump.fff, so I just ran the MiniDump, exe and directed it to a miniDump folder I made. Still don't have a Minidump.fff, but is doesn't seem to mind

There must have been such a file for generating the error you saw, but it's language dependent: The file extentsion is fff for the Englich version, ffr for French, fit for Italian and fde for German. Maybe you got one of these?

Found it in the Mail folder, not the Program folder  - delete it?
Found it in the Mail folder, not the Program folder  - delete it?
Not if you reinstalled MiniDump. In this case I would recommend using the MiniDump uninstaller unless you don't mind keeping it for any future crashes you might encounter.
