Just found this dated Dec 12 2012

IMAP - At this time IMAP is not supported by Outlook.com. Microsoft plans to support in the future.

in outlook.com help, IMAP search provides method but I neglected to read the small prints:

Turn on POP or IMAP Access to Connect - Applies to: Office 365 for professionals and small businesses, Office 365 for enterprises, Live@edu

They don`t say outlook.com

Anyone did it?

 Folks at MS didn't bother writing anywhere in there help (at least I didn't find it) what goddam server address to use.

I would like to use IMAP with SSL to access [address]@outlook.com I tried outlook.com with port 993. tried imap.outlook.com too.

I keep getting server error.
