Problems with migration of Pegasus on dual boot W7 and W8

I sounds like the Win8 install of Pegasus Mail is working in a new mailbox and not the one used by the Win7 installation.  In the Win8 install of Pegasus Mail, go the Help menu and select About Pegasus Mail... Click the Info button then look for the following entries to see what Pegasus is working with:

WINPMAIL.EXE directory:
Home mailbox location:
New mailbox location:

Have been

using Pegasus version 4.63 build 325 on a W7 64bit (ultimate) system without problems.

Decided to make use of the Microsoft offer and to migrate slowly to W8 64bit (prof).

On W7 the

mailbox is located on a partition with other data. Loaded Pegasus into W8 and connected

it to the same mailbox as used in W7. All folders are visible and can be

opened. However, the New Mail folder, the identities and network configuration

are completely empty.

Under W7

the program remains functioning fine.

Any suggestion for cause and/or solution.
