Replying to Yahoo messages - cannot see original message
I'll try updating the LibTidy this weekend with the link you attached (it won't change or delete any of my files will it? Is there a restore function if this makes matters worse than before?).
No, just keep a copy of the original LibTidy.dll installed with Pegasus Mail since, of course, it will be overwritten by the newly patched version. It's a matter of at most a few minutes, not necessary to wait for a weekend to try ...

When replying to Yahoo messages I cannot see original message to which I am relying to.

This only happens with Yahoo emails and has been a problem on the last couple of versions of Pegasus Mail (I'm using 4.63).

Usually the original text comes up with " > " markers for each line of text.

The problem also occurs on the various operating systems I have been using - previously XP and now Windows 7 (all English versions).

Does anyone have an answers or suggestions?

Thank you.

Is the "reply with options" window opening when you do replies?  If so, have you tried different combinations of settings for the original message content?  If not, click the little arrow next to the Reply icon and select reply with options then do some testing.

If the messages you are replying to do not have a plain text part then you won't receive the content preceded with the ">" because that only acts on the plain text part of a message.  You would need to enable the reply option that preserves the HTML formatting of the original message in order for the HTML content to appear in the reply.

This isn't quite right: Pegasus Mail can convert HTML to plain text for replies and treat it as usual. There's most probably, once again, some broken HTML code causing this, so we need a sample message to check this if updating LibTidy doesn't fix it.

Thanks for the reply.

Yes, I have set the preserve HTML formatting of the original message and I have tried various combinations - but still no luck.
