missing mailbox.

Greenman, you are my hero. I wish every problem could be solved so easily...

Thanks!

Trying in English: the problem is as follows: on the right side of my screen I have two mailboxes: the top mailbox is for my new e-mails and I have also a sent- and deleted e-mail-folder.

Beneath it, I have several folders created in which I store my read emails (in different folders). Now recently became the second mailbox disappeared.

I cannot open the mailbox within pegasus (with 'mail folders or Control-J): nothing happens. When "adding" a pegasus directory of the hard drive I only get an extra inbound mail box).

However: when I start control-f and search on a mail which I know exists only in the folders who are gone, then pegasus finds this one. I can also open this particular mail. So the folders are still somewhere on my hard drive and pegasus also can find them. Pegasus mentions the correct (but not visible) folder, but I can not see them ... When I click 'properties' , then the locatation is set at " (Stored in folder) ".

Is there anyone who can help me to get back my second mailbox? Anyone familiar with this problem?

Close Pegasus Mail and create a backup of the mail folder on your hard drive.

Next, rename the file named heirarch.pm to heirarch.pm-old. This file is used by Pegasus Mail to identify your mail folders and to display them within Pegasus Mail. The heirarch.pm file will be re-created when you restart Pegasus Mail because it will re-scan your mail folders.

If anything strange happens you will still have the backup available.
