Several complaints with PegasusMail . .

Michael,

Do you intend to tell me you did some testing as you had asked me if I had done?  Thank you for being as intelligent as you appear.  That is a feature that has not been demonstrated in most of these forums, which I hold membership in about 55 of them.  Some have even threatened me with being banned if I did not stop reporting to other users that I have run two (2) firewalls, two (2) antivirus softwares, three (3) malware software and have done scans simultaneously with them all.  And have Microsoft's EMET latest version on my system without any lockup, yes the system is rrraaatttthhheeerrr sssslllloooww but all is well that ends well.

Back to the original issue, it looks as though wait is the only solution, Version 5.x . . .

I know you prefer a different thread for each topic for support, well this has several complaints but may be all solved with the same assistance.

My PegasusMail was working to my satisfaction before the last issue with my ISP and my email.  They do not support email clients only WebMail using a browser, I do not use my browser for viewing my email.

Now my issue with PM, each time I open PM, after the system has been closed like over night, all of these issues are reset to a default setting they are numbered below:

#1. For some reason the columns, using the 'Preview' mode, for viewing inbound mail will not stay put when I expand them so I can see the information in each

#2. When selecting "Forward" or "New Message" and selecting the "Special" tab to add a list of recipients for 'BCC', the window for the list to select from always returns to a default size and will not remain expanded so I may see all of the titles of AddyBooks and/or the addies for those the message is intended.  Necessitating dragging the bottom down far enough so all parts are visible.

#3. The Icons and Text buttons will not remain Txt Only for me, each time the system is restarted these always revert to "Default".

If these are not clear enough I will break them down into individual threads

Do you close Pegasus Mail before shutting down Windows? Otherwise it might not save your settings properly ...

Does this also occur after closing and restarting Pegasus Mail without shutting down Windows?

Just did several tests of the above question and Yes it does occur even without closing Windows.  Do not think the fact that it is installed on a Micro-Mini Chip because it worked just fine since my install about July of last year up to about two (2) weeks ago when my ISP gave me problems for about three (3) days before they finally got my email working again.  This Pegasus has been very stable . .

I have no idea, but it looks like Pegasus Mail isn't able so save its settings anymore on shutdown, for whatever reason.
