Although
only recently observed, I've encountered the problem that my outgoing
email are not being posted to my 'copy to self' folder since Jan
21st, 2013.
I
upgraded from PM 4.61 to 4.63 about 4 days ago – problem not
resolved.
I
have confirmed that under “Tools/Options/Outgoing Mail/Copies to
self ('outbox') is engaged and that the folder selected is 'Copies
to self'
In
testing I've created another folder “Copy to me' – and set it
accordingly – result = problem not resolved. (Copy self folder is
now reset back to original)
I
have generated several test emails to confirm that the 'sticky' bit
in the message editor is set (checked). = Validated.
I've
checked the various filtering rules options available. Nothing is set
under filters. FYI this is my lap-top install of PM and all emails
are directed / copied to my ISP email address anyway.
Under
'Spam and Content control'; Content control is disabled, Global White
List is enabled and set to 750 entries, and there is lots and lots of
unused room remaining. Spamhalter is enabled, the junk folder is set
to 'Junk or suspicious mail', and no valid copy-to-self messages are
stored there.
As
per a forum entry (near below) The “STATE.PMJ” folder was edited
to to remove the 'select a mail folder RS=”. After restarting PM
and testing – the problem was not resolved.
From
forms: Copy to Self stopped working
STATE.PMJ,
either in the user's home or new mailbox directory (see Help
=> About Pegasus Mail => Info
for paths). Close Pegasus Mail, open the file with a simple plain
text editor like NotePad and remove the line starting with Select
a mail folder RS=
in the [SELFOL] section. After restarting Pegasus Mail it should
return to using default values.

HOWEVER.
After grepping around I discovered that my 'copies to self' are being
re-directed to another folder (within a sub-folder). Coincidentally
it's turned out to be my girlfriends message folder. Not
that the coincidence is relevant, but that the copy operation is
being redirected elsewhere.
At
present I'm unable to determine where or how or why my 'copies' are
being directed to 'another folder'. As noted above the configuration
has been set and reset on several occasions yet this does not affect
the incorrect redirection.

filtering.
Request:
Does any one know what the fix is for this glitch?
Thanks
in advance.
