From what I interpret from your post, you're having trouble reading the forum, not so much as using Pegasus?? That being the case, if by any chance you're using Firefox as your browser, the current version (mine is 21.0) allows you to 'zoom' into the page or make the fonts larger. In the upper left corner there is a plus (+) and minus (-) sign that will enlarge or zoom in or shrink/zoom out. My wife has problems with fine print as well and this works great for her. Whether it's available on other browsers I can't say.

Hope that helps some.

Both Firefox 21 and IE 10 can be zoomed by holding the 'Ctrl' key and using the '+' and '-' keys. Firefox has the added feature of zooming only text by changing a setting in the 'View/Zoom' menu.

I am  visually impaired and struggle to see any print on the screen that is smaller than the words "Write a New Post" on this page. Seriously I need the writing to be a quarter of an inch tall. Because I cannot achieve this I struggle with typos when I use the Forums or type in email addresses and subjects. Is there anything I can do about this within PM? I have my windows settings where I want them for most purposes so I do not want to change those. Any yelp would be appreciated.

There are several threads about this problem.  It is caused by the fixed font size used in numerous places in Pegasus Mail that are too small on high resolution screens.  I run my 1920x1080 capable laptop at 1600x900 and it makes Pegasus Mail just barely tolerable.  The 1280x720 setting would be better but then everything else is too big.  The display properties GUI on my laptop makes it easy to change resolutions but with the 1600x900 being functional I haven't tried changing the screen resolution based on the app I was using.  If your display properties GUI has the same capabilities you might test to see if switching resolutions is a practical option.  I know that it can play havoc with a nicely laid out desktop.

I do use Firefox and I will try to learn the zoom feature but basically at the moment things never zoom when I want them to but they zoom when I don't want them to. I have the problem in both the Forum and in PMail itself but in PMail only when entering recipients and subjects. I know how to enlarge the text of an email I am composing and emails I receive are always readable. As the first poster mentioned I could monkey with the settings in windows but since everything except pmail is the right size I choose not to do that.

The font size in the address and header fields is fixed in the executable and changing windows themes has no affect. The only things related in MSWindows is the DPI settting which affects all display sizes and how that is visualized on screen is controlled by the screen resolution setting. No settings within winpm-32 change the display size in header fields though the change of Editor font due change the "spread" of the characters a bit. This is/has been age old problem with no easy or workable solution to date and has been around during whole life of V4.x and advent of win32 OSs of NT4 and later, 5.0, 5.1, 6.0, etc.. There *may* be hope for change in V5 in the future.
