The v4.63 installer archive was created back in January 2012 and there have been updates to both BearHTML and IERenderer since then. After you have new machine and v4.63 running then  update the IIERenderer using the icon on top menu at far right and running that installer exe. BearHTML does not come with installer and you must unzip the files in that archive of latest version.

Tried to uplift the entire Pegusus Mail folder and paste it into my new laptop running Windows 8.  It doesn't like it.  I seem to be missing TER32.dill for a start.  I though I would just download the Windows7 Version but would be grateful if someone could tell me the file names of the address books & new & saved mail files.  Many thanks,

Get the reference for file names and extensions from Han's site http://www.vandenbogaerde.net/pegasusmail/pf_pmfiles.html

One can not just copy all ..pmail and below from old machine to new machine. One must make sure it is  placed into c:\pmail only and then must also run the v4.63 installer exe too that does more than just copy files or place them.

Many have had the most success by first doing new clean full install of v4.63 and then restoring just the desired files or file pairs from the old to the new proper location on the new machine. Also make sure that during the copy of transfer of old machine files that when they are placed on the new machine they have not been marked R attribute (read only) at the OS level by backup program or transfer media.
