"caisson,"

I do not have a IERenderer toolbar icon on my system, where would I find one?  I have IERenderer installed and BearHTML.* also installed just do not have the TOOLBAR for either one, if there is supposed to be one or some?

Just recently did an update for both and there is still none found.

[/quote]

Excuse me please, my error, did not notice the Pegasus Stallion/w the blue E, thought that was just a PM ICON.  Now I am wearing my glasses and watching very closely for hidden or not too easily seen additional information on the ICONS.

Plus I have gone in and updated IERenderer to the latest version, thought I had it already.  Discovered it was still the v2.4.7.6 and am now v2.4.7.10 . .

Just started yesterday, 6/3/2013, when moving mail or adding a new folder/mailbox my mouse moves off screen to the right AND nothing happens, no dialog for naming the new mailbox with the mail to be moved selected.  When moving mouse to PM to do anything computer beeps and NOTHING.  At first I restarted my computer and reopen PM was able to check mail and do other operations as though nothing was wrong, WRONG!!  Attempting to do the same move of mail and creation of a new mailbox same results.  Could not even get TASK MANAGER to come up, at first, later on after clicking the 'three finger salute' several times, about 3 or 4 it finally came up and was able to 'close process' for PM.  That is how I unlock PM now, yet no matter which I use to attempt to create a new MailBox it locks down PM.  There is room on the Micro mini chip where PM is located.  Have downloaded new mail, read and open new mail, even sent as well as forwarded mail.  The only problem is creating a new mailbox.  It has worked before with no difficulty.

Ask any question that you may need for more info from me, or any suggestions would be great . .

I have one last question if I may?  Where might I find the version #s for IERenderer, LibTidy.dll, Bearhtml within my install of PM so the versions can be verified.  Have looked but cannot find any info within PM.

Version number for Bearhtml is displayed on the Pegasus Mail status line for about 5 seconds when you press Shift F1 for Bearhtml help, while viewing an html message. Alternatively use Windows Explorer to examine Bearhtml.dll properties and click the Version tab

"irelam",

Reference you instructions the version # for my install of BearHTML is  4.6.8.2 using the last instructions, "Windows Explorer . . Bearhtml.dll properties version tab (actually on my system it is called Details)."  The other is not displayed when pressing 'Shift F1' viewing an html message for Bearhtml HELP only shows IERenderer HELP.

I downloaded the supposedly latest version of Bearhtml4694 and most of the files when unpacked dates are older than the ones presently on my system so I did not replace those, only about three (3), I think, were replaced and do not remember which ones.

This means most probably that the dialog is opened outside of the screen somewhere. It might be possible to change this by editing STATE.PMJ in your mailbox directory, but I have no idea which entry needs to be corrected, so you'll need to try one by one if you cannot figure out the entry to be corrected by its respective name. For a try you might simply rename the current file (after shutting down Pegasus Mail) and let Pegasus Mail create a new one for testing when relaunching it.

"Michael,"

Did not think this one was going to be easy, do like these replies that leave it up to us to do our own testing and experimenting.  I learn much from this type.  Now my problem will be when it can be worked upon, need some free time to do this and think about what needs to be done as well as how.  It now is getting to be sleep time and then tomorrow several special projects are awaiting my attention.  So maybe tomorrow evening will be ATTACK time.

You have not any idea as to how important you and the other monitors there are to us, Thank you so very muchly to one and all.

Hi there,

The distribution zip file for Bearhtml only contains files that need to be synchronized with the Bearhtml.dll, ie Helpfile and any language translation files. The remainder of bear*.* files are obtained by downloading from Community only once, as they are mostly static.

The Shift + F1 only works when you have Bearhtml as the active html renderer.  In your case IERenderer was the active browser when you keyed in Shift + F1.

I am just not really a computer wizard, still working with 'training wheels' attached.  Maybe one of these days a light will come on and then I will be able to see what is going on in my head.

Question: what is required to get BearHTML to be the active renderer?  Remove IErenderer?

Disable IERenderer via the drop down menu on the IERenderer toolbar icon.

I'm pretty sure this issue isn't about HTML rendering ...

If adding a new folder (or tray) Pegasus Mail rewrites/corrects the following value in the NAMERF section of STATE.PMJ:

[NAMERF]

DEFAULT=326,206,676,563

I couldn't find a corresponding value for adding a mailbox, though. You might find that yours contains a position out of range with regard to your screen coordinates (upper left being 0,0,x,y where x/y are the width and height values respectively).

"idw,"

This is what was found when viewing STATE.PMJ in my TXT editor:

          [NAMERF]

          DEFAULT=5055,183,934,653

Would your advice be to copy/paste what you have in your previous message?  As that is what I prepared to do . awaiting your answer.

Also found some strange entries in an area prior to the above lines.  Do not understand what nor how or why the following entry was made:

          [FOLDER]

           \\ààÀ|»T
          —uAf¡Ë=10,10,510,360,"0,0,0,512,0,0"
          \\ààÀ|»T
          —uAf¡Ë=10,10,510,360,"0,0,0,0,0,0"

The above four (4) lines appear fortynine (49) lines below the title in brackets.  The first line after the title in brackets is "New mail = . . ", "main= . .", "copyself= . .", "junk= . .", "Deleted Messages= . . ", with other mailboxes between those in quotes.  I feel the four (4) lines above probably should be removed.  Or maybe renamed?

I await your reply . .

Like always: Backup a copy of the existing file. 5055 is definitely out of any screen I know, so using my values for a start might be a good idea. But I think Pegasus Mail would just create a new default if you delete the line ( DEFAULT=5055,183,934,653

) completely from your file.

You're right, this looks pretty much like garbage created during a crash: You should be safe with deleting them, especially if keeping a backup of the previous file. And don't forget to shut down Pegasus Mail before modifying its configuration files.

DONE, yippeyy, all is back to normal.  Those four (4) lines that were garbled were to a 'link' folder and was told if any message was deleted in this link folder that is the only item deleted, the original message is in another folder and would not be effected.  So those garbled entries were removed without any problem PLUS your entries for you other folder that had "326,206,676,563" as an entry worked PERFECTLY.  All is back to normal all around.

Just to let you know how it was handled, not as you told me, but; of the garbled entries one had all 'zeros' (0) so I removed it first and closed the State.PMJ file and reopen Pegasus.  That is where I learned what was in there was a 'link' to other messages, probably from the "Deleted Messages" folder, so I went on and deleted the other garbled line.  Then removed the 'off screen' of the box of instructions for creation of a Folder or Tray.  Then went forward with my need to create a folder for some messages from a new friend for saving.

"Michael" your assistance has been GREAT and THANK YOU muchly . .
