"idw,"
This is what was found when viewing STATE.PMJ in my TXT editor:
[NAMERF]
DEFAULT=5055,183,934,653
Would your advice be to copy/paste what you have in your previous message? As that is what I prepared to do . awaiting your answer.
Like always: Backup a copy of the existing file. 5055 is definitely out of any screen I know, so using my values for a start might be a good idea. But I think Pegasus Mail would just create a new default if you delete the line ( DEFAULT=5055,183,934,653
) completely from your file.
Also found some strange entries in an area prior to the above lines. Do not understand what nor how or why the following entry was made:
[FOLDER]
\\ààÀ|»T
—uAf¡Ë=10,10,510,360,"0,0,0,512,0,0"
\\ààÀ|»T
—uAf¡Ë=10,10,510,360,"0,0,0,0,0,0"
The above four (4) lines appear fortynine (49) lines below the title in brackets. The first line after the title in brackets is "New mail = . . ", "main= . .", "copyself= . .", "junk= . .", "Deleted Messages= . . ", with other mailboxes between those in quotes. I feel the four (4) lines above probably should be removed. Or maybe renamed?
I await your reply . .
You're right, this looks pretty much like garbage created during a crash: You should be safe with deleting them, especially if keeping a backup of the previous file. And don't forget to shut down Pegasus Mail before modifying its configuration files.
