<p>By default messages go to the Main Folder, they are not lost.  There is an option in menu  Tools/Option/Basic settings that shows where they go.</p><p>HTH</p><p>Martin </p>

<p>Pmail 4.63 on W7.</p><p> I had the "mailbox locked" followed by Pmail hanging syndrome.  I deleted the two most recent days' of .CNM files.  I did not delete any other file, except the lock file. </p><p> Pmail then started up, but the New Mail folder only has the most recent message in it.  There were about 100, when last open, all having been read, except the </p><p>two most recent, both of which were small, text  only files.  Only the most recent one survived.</p><p> </p><p>Are the messages totally lost, or are they possibly in a differently-named folder now?  Where should I look? </p><p> </p><p>Thanks for any help. </p><p> </p><p>A </p>
