Installing IMAP server onto existing installation of Mercury

If there is more than one concurrent connection to a mailbox it may not be possible to delete messages. Otherwise it should be OK though.

Hi!

I have an Installation of Mercury without IMAP and WEB. I want to add these Servers into this existing Installation. Running Setup as 'update' does not provide me with an Option to Change this, Running 'new Installation' in same Directory gives me that Option, but does not Change anything... After doing that Mercury runs as before, no IMAP, no WEB.

How to add IMAP and WEB to an existing Installation?

 Regards,

Michael

(dont mind the silly capitals, its the automatic spell correction of IE10...)

Go to the Configuration menu and select "Protocol modules...". Mark the modules you want to use and click OK. Then restart Mercury to allow the new modules to be loaded.

Ups... Silly me! Works like a charm...

BTW: Are there any known Problems when accessing the same account via POP3 and IMAP simultanously? I am using an POP3-account for months and want to 'migrate' to IMAP, so using them both for an Evaluation period would be nice.
