It still sounds like a download controls issue.  Double check the download control settings in the POP3 host configuration.  Make sure the "Download only unread mail" is not checked and the "Default action for messages still present after filtering" is set to Download.

Also, enable internet session logging then check a log to see if an abnormal end to the connection is occurring.  Read the help file about internet session logging if you are unfamiliar with what gets logged and/or where to find the log files.

I run PM on XP professional and have done for past 4 years suddenly only some of my Gmail messages are downloded

I have NO filters in place, I have changed nothing, can anyone help PLEASE??

Today I had 11 gmail messages in the inbox but PM only downloaded two of them

Hi, the problem was not resolved, I did not change anything, it was OK one day when I only had 3 messages but reverted back to only downloading some of the messages. I've not been back to the forum for a short while as I have my wife seriously ill in hospital and a round trip of about 160 km almost daily been a bit short on time. However, today just had to try to get some help, I've managed to change quite a lot of my email address from the Gmail account to my domain.com but still some I've not changed yet.

Have you ruled out the possibility that some of the messages are marked as read and Pegasus is only downloading unread messages?

Yes, last time you suggested I mark all messages as unread which I did but PM still did not download any of those messages.

This morning I had several messages but only got 2 via PM.
