AAarrrrghhhh!

Dummy that I am I failed to do a little research before pleading to the masses. The default printer was off line, which I found quite easily searching for "delay in opening message". Set the printer default to one that's available and problem solved. Sorry to waste bandwidth but perhaps it will help someone else to remember to look first and ask questions later.

All of a sudden, today, whenever I go to open an email it takes, on average, a minute and a half to open & display on the screen. I closed down everything and rebooted the computer, then the first couple emails opened fine then we're back to the delay again.

XP Pro 64bit, default options for install.

This has been working flawlessly like forever. Haven't changed anything in about that long a time, either.

Any idea what's happening here?
