Copy all outgoing mail

Hey Brian -

Never used 'public' folders before. Great idea. I'll try it out.

Thanks

Greetings:

I'm running PMail using it as an email server. [C:\PMAIL\Programs\winpm-32.exe  -A -E server.txt]. This as most know is a simple store & forward scheme allowing my wife to use PMail on her computer whereas her mailbox is located on this, my only Internet connection enabled machine. Long story but this serves us well for our needs. The question is -

It's simple enough to configure each install to save a copy of any sent message to a given folder. Is it possible to save messages from the wife's machine to a folder that appears in my folder window? That is, can a general, central, public or whatever folder be set up to receive copies of all outgoing messages regardless from whom they might be sent?

Thanks for any comments.

Yeah, I do that with all the messages originating on my own machine. What I'd like to be able to do is also copy outgoing messages originating on my wife's computer but have the folder to which they're copied appear in my folder pane when running my copy of PMail on my own computer. I guess what it would entail is being able to set the copy-to folder for her emails as one of the folders in my mail box. I doubt that that's possible and perhaps not even desirable to cross pollinate mail boxes that way.

What about using a public folder.  It would be available to both of you and can be filtered to like any other folder.
