Copy command edits address

Gah!

I've just pasted the message into Word and the link does in fact contain two @ symbols. The message is encoded as base 64 so the raw view is meaningless.

Sorry!

Hi

Today I copied an address: Subscriber.xxxxxx.Bulletins@ebulletins.co.uk from within Pegasus Mail. The address was in the body of the message, and was a mailto: link. I right-clicked the address and chose the option to 'Copy address to clipboard'.

When I pasted it the address had been adjusted and appeared as mailto:Subscriber.xxxxxx@Bulletins@ebulletins.co.uk

I understand that having two dots may be unusual for an address but I'm surprised that the address has been edited. Is this intentional or do I have a problem with Pegasus Mail?

Thanks!

seems this was a formated mail. Just tried that. My Pegasus does not edit the mailaddress - but strips the "mailto:".

I assume that the mistake is in the link. If you have activated the statusline at the bottom of Pegasuswindow, place the cursor on that link and look what is shown at the left of the statusline. Or have a look at the sourcetext of the mail.
