Peg not downloading new messages

Thanks, just figured out the problem - need direct SSL connect under Security tab.

Just moved to Win 8.1, was working normally under Vista. Now it's not downloading any new messages. Shows "POP3: Connecting" as usual, no error messages, then it shuts off as if there are no new messages (there are 23 messages in the GMAIL inbox awaiting download). Any ideas? Thanks! ...Steve

Create a session log to see whats happening - Tools | Internet Options..
