As far as I know there is no way.

Hmm .. another keyboard with slightly different layout (mine german one has the CTRL-Key on the lower left an right corner of the typewriterblock).

Or ... remove the cap of the CTRL-Key?

At 81 I am not as good with the keyboard any more and hit keys I do not mean to hit LOL
