Can .eml files be imported easily?

Yes, the good old dos 8.3 format. ;-)

I have to bring over a number of someone's e-mails from incredimail to my pegasus mail.

Incredimail has no export for e-mails and in their forum they advised me to save the mails in .eml format.

But in pmail I don't see an option to import .eml files.

Can this be done?

Hello,
I performed this same task for a client, but it was long ago and I do not recall the details.
I suggest to save an IncrediMail message to an .EML file, rename that .EML to .CNM
and place it in the Pegasus "New mailbox location" (In Pegasus see: Help > About | Info).
When Pegasus is restarted, or the "New mail" folder refreshed, the mail message should be there.
If that seems to work out OK then perform the same task for each IncrediMail folder seperately.

To export/convert/import the IncrediMail address book use:
Dawn, the Address Converter and Manager.

Thank you for this tip.

I tried, but my Windows 7 didn't allow me to change .eml in .cnm.

I am looking into this issue now. Will come back to report.
Found how to change the file type and changed .eml in .cnm.

I did this for one message to test.

This message keeps coming into the new mail every 5 seconds, but I can't see the body.

Often Incredimail messages are not normal type and often have no text message body portion but are comprised of all HTML and images or are lazy HTML and only contain URLs to off site server content. Did you view "fancy" version? Did you set to allow lazy html and graphics from offsite servers to be downloaded?

In fact I hate incredimail, but a lot of people use it.

I looked further and now I see:

This message contains binary or non-textual data that cannot be previewed within Pegasus Mail.

   Filename:   ÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌ

You can work with this file in the message reader's 'Attachments' page.

The attachments page doesn't contain anything.

I'll try to rename the file to something closer to a cnm file.
Renaming the file to aaaaaa.cnm did the trick.

The message doesn't keep coming and coming as new mail either.

I'll continue with a second message and if ok, I know I can continue this way.

File names must not be longer than eight characters (excluding the .cnm extension).
