There are issues if the fairly old SSL libraries in Mercury 4.74 and earlier if used together with clients that follow newer SSL standards. For that reason v4.80 of Mercury, that is in release candidate state at the moment, will switch to use OpenSSL.

I use Mercury for personal use.  Recently upgraded to 4.74 for ssl.  Everything was working fine prior to the upgrade.  Now it seems Mercury just stops running after around 24 hours.  Previously I was using srvany to register and run mercury as a service.  I noticed that to run as a service you now need a license so I initially assumed that is why it was stopping.  I've set up an autologin on the server now and dropped mercury into the startup folder but seem to still have the same behavior.  Mercury shuts down within 24 hours.  The OS (Window Server 2003) doesn't seem to think it is a crash, nothing is logged in event viewer.  Any thoughts?  Thanks in advance.
