It is know there are addressbook problems and hopefully they will be fixed for the V4.71 release that is already scheduled to fix other problems and one with the spell checker display and end check function. Try using drag and drop and that should work to add address to book you have open.

Address book as we know it will not be in V5 and will be replaced by new Contact Manager. 

w7 installation, upgraded.

 Everything seems to be running just fine, with the exception of the addressbook.  Highlighting a message, and choosing "Add sender's address to...." brings up the subpanel with the four choices.  The addition to the Distribution list works.  The selection of "Addressbook..." brings up the next subpanel, and when you highlight the addressbook that you want to use and click "Select", the panels close and nothing happens.
