Our Parent company in the states is moving our email to and exchange server over there.  They do not plan to implement POP or IMAP.  Will there still be a way to connect Pegasus to my account?  I am currently able to set up a forward to the domain which points at our Mercury server here but that may get turned off as they are understandably keen to have all email appear to come from their domain and their IP address.

I ask because I understand that there is a plug in for Thunderbird to enable it to access Exchange and I wondered is anyone had written anything similar for Pegasus.

Chris,

I have a utility call PM2MSM32 which downloads various objects from MSExchange to Pegasus Mail. The link to my website is:

http://www3.telus.net/public/irelam/pm2msm.zip

A caveat:   The code is getting old now (circa 2003) so the latest versions of MSExchange may barf when being requested to extract various things. Secondly, I no longer have access to a MSExchange server, so I can't really do much to fix/enhance things. At present the public version of this utility is one-way (Exchange to Pegasus Mail).  I have played with the other direction but as Exchange can very capably receive SMTP or IMAP, I have not pursued these.  Also things like Calendars and Todo lists, can now be converted to vCard and vCalendar objects, by Exchange and imported to numerous applications (such as PMVcard and PMIcal of mine)

So if you can come up with a needs assessment, I can delve into what if anything I can do to assist.

Chris,

If you want to place mail messages into MSExchange, I have the code, which I pulled out of PM2MSM some time ago.  It uses MAPISendMessage which I populate by processing a draft message in Pegasus Mail, and uses standard MAPI32.dll.
