How to setup a failure template for non existent address

 Hi

Could someone please help with a failure message, if Mercury receives a mail for an address that doesn't exist it returns an error saying "

553 We do not relay without RFC2554 authentication.". how can i change this message. I have looked in the core but the error message that this sends out doesn't match the response, also looked in the SMTP server but can't find anywhere to fit it in.

thanks

That's the SMTP response for messages that are for non-local recipients when MercuryS is set to require authentication when relaying. As the message is refused the response is given as part of the SMTP transaction, not in a notification email. The connecting mail server will then return the message to the sender with this error message, but the receiving mail server (in this case Mercury) is not involved in that.
