This is a known issue with filesize and the mailstore (folders) can not be greater than 2gb (32 bit pointers iirc). Best to split/archive folders when greater than 1.5-1.7 gb in size. Search forum for more details, has been discussed before.

I have an issue with a folder that is corrupt.  This happens every year on a main folder that I have the entire years emails.  The file size show 2 gb.  I have tried reindex and also mailbox fix utility.  In the past I have to copy out all the old email to a new folder, trying not to copy the corruption.

any better advice
