The file size of 2 GB is operation system limit. NEVER let a folder grow to this size! So you have to split your yearly folder in i.e. two folders.

For repairing you have first to move mails out of this folder and then compress it. Pegasus can't repair a folder ticking to the limit.

I have an issue with a folder that is corrupt.  This happens every year on a main folder that I have the entire years emails.  The file size show 2 gb.  I have tried reindex and also mailbox fix utility.  In the past I have to copy out all the old email to a new folder, trying not to copy the corruption.
