What is the maximum size the Mail Folder in v. 4.63 of Pegasus handle? I think I am approchhing the limit.

The largest folder in My Bookmarks is 275 Mb. What do I need to do to store that folder off-line in case I should need it at a later date?

None. There is an o/s limitation of 2Gb in 32 bit systems.
