An email problem has shown up recently sending to addresses at go-active.co.il. If I do an NSLOOKUP on this domain I get
C:\>nslookup
Default Server: mmy
Address: 192.168.101.1
> set type=mx
> go-active.co.il
Server: mmy
Address: 192.168.101.1
Non-authoritative answer:
go-active.co.il MX preference = 5, mail exchanger = 192.114.186.50
go-active.co.il MX preference = 5, mail exchanger = 192.114.186.51
go-active.co.il nameserver = ns.secured.co.il
go-active.co.il nameserver = ns1.secured.co.il
ns.secured.co.il internet address = 192.115.31.16
ns1.secured.co.il internet address = 212.25.68.218
If I do the same with the CNAME option set I get
C:\>nslookup
Default Server: mmy
Address: 192.168.101.1
> set type=cname
> go-active.co.il
Server: mmy
Address: 192.168.101.1
go-active.co.il
primary name server = ns.secured.co.il
responsible mail addr = demo.shopy.biz
serial = 2006121825
refresh = 10800 (3 hours)
retry = 3600 (1 hour)
expire = 604800 (7 days)
default TTL = 86400 (1 day)
When mercury 451 is trying to send email to this domain I see in the MercuryE window
Resolved CN for 'go-active.co.il' to 192.114.144.116
Connecting to 192.114.144.116
Connection error.
There is no SMTP server at 192.114.144.116. Looks to me like this domain's DNS records are a little screwed up.
Can someone confirm this?
Thank You
