-Z 32 switch not working

Thanks, Guy. (Unfortunate that help and dialogue still point to wrong folder and filenames.) Will now be able to keep an eye on debugging files.

I'm trying to diagnose a recurrent problem I'm having. In brief, PMail hangs for maybe 1/2 minute several times a day, the screen often but not always greying out while it hangs, and maybe half the time coming back to life again, and other times crashing and provoking Windows to restart it. This is PMail v.4.70 running under Windows 7 64-bit Professional or Enterprise and connecting by IMAP to a MS Exchange server. The same behaviour is shown on three different computers. This increasingly impossible situation has lasted for several months now.

Before I try to figure out whether this is my particular Pegasus setup or some new problem with PMail's interaction with my university's Exchange mailserver, I thought I'd run Pegasus under TCP/IP debug mode to see if that gave any clue about what's going on when it hangs. I have tried the following both in the Start | Run box and from a command prompt:

c:\pmail\programs\winpm-32.exe -Z 32

c:\pmail\Programs\MiniDump\PMDebug.exe -Z 32

Pegasus starts with the usual warning of running in TCP/IP debugging mode, but as far as I can tell, no TCPnnnn.WPM files are being created in the mailbox folder or anywhere else.

So my attempt at self-help has got nowhere. I'm stumped. Any suggestions?

"Starting TCP/IP Debugging mode" dialog does not give accurate information (nor does the Manual or Help).

Should be found in directory:
  <Home mailbox location>\TCPLogs\

Filename format:
TCP-yymmdd-HHMM-nn.imap (.pop, .smtp)
   e.g.,
     TCP-141030-0123-0.imap
