Saving messagesby Date rather than sender

At the top of the Pegasus new mail page where it says tools. I can't seem to make my folder stay at the "sort by date"

It keeps wanting to go to "sort by sender."

I have gone to tools> options> incoming mail>message reader> and clicked the box saying

"save  the last window size and position" to no avail

any other options?
